The Hangin' Tree.

The Hangin' Tree

It's a really naked tree that was used to hang George Bikford in 1878. Tree and attached sign are visible from the road in front of a gas station/convenience store.

[Kerin Fassler, 11/07/2022]

The sign was originally bordered with a rope and noose, but much of that has disappeared, possibly at the hands of ghoulish tourists. The adjacent Hangin Tree convenience store may have souvenirs.
