Sara is definitely a girl camel, complete with udder. She's in a pretty park hedged with lilacs right next to a farm implement dealer, near where Hwy 2 and Hwy 5 intersect. Hwy 5 goes through Spruce Woods Provincial Park, which is where the Spirit Sands are -- Manitoba's only official desert. Hence the camel.

Sara is in her own quarter-acre, well-maintained park. The local Community Development Corporation keeps the bushes and grass trimmed, allowing for an unobstructed view. I visited around noon on a clear summer day and had great light for photos from most angles.
