Scargo Tower
The first tower on Scargo Hill was built out of wood in 1874 by a hotel to give the guests something to see. The current structure (the third) was built in 1902 out of Cape Cod cobblestone. Scargo Hill is the highest on the Cape, and the vista from the top stretches from Plymouth to Provincetown. This is a much easier climb than the more famous tower (the Pilgrim Monument) in Provincetown, it's open year-round, free, and the view is better.
