Nice park and art piece dedicated to cancer survivors. It was reported on RA that the bronze child had been stolen. As of my visit today, it would appear it was either returned or a new boy was added. The family looks complete!
[Luv2RV, 06/10/2023]According to local newspaper reports, a statue thief struck the Cancer Survivor Plaza in Tucson, AZ, nabbing the skipping child figure from the running family scene. Police are investigating why someone would hack off the bronze figure, estimated worth between $2-3,000, and leave alone the other parts of the sculpture.
