Charlie Lake - Fort St. John, British Columbia, Canada: Muffler Man: Pacific Pete (Gone)

Canadian Muffler Man
I thought the Muffler Man on the Alaska Highway would be in the Yukon, from the description, but I found one near the other end. There may well be another ahead of me.
The digital camera picture is pretty crappy, but I've attached it.
[Craig Thom, 08/29/2001]I was half asleep on a Greyhound bus a couple of weeks ago, going along the Alaska Highway, when I heard a strange voice telling me to wake up. Well actually, I just happened to look out the window, and I'm pretty sure there was a muffler man. We were going by too quickly for me to get a good look. But it's on the south side of the Alaska Highway just before mile 16. I know it's in Canada, but a muffler man transcends these silly political boundaries, doesn't he?
