In August 2021 I helped raise a 25-foot Native American statue in the Pontiac-Oakland Museum lobby. We got up on a rolling scaffold and each got under a shoulder, and in 20 minutes, Chief Pontiac was back on his feet. He had been trucked up from North Carolina after standing 60 years there greeting visitors into town.

In July we helped to remove this guy after standing for 50 years at Harry's on the Hill, a car dealership. He was transported to Mark Cline's studio in Virginia for a full restoration. We hope to help with the second half of his move, to a museum in Pontiac, Michigan, in the fall.

The Indian at Harry's on the Hill is still there, and he looks great! We actually were a little lost in Asheville, and just looked up and saw him!
[Jimerado, 05/18/2010]I am staying in Asheville and searched in vain for the Indian muffler man and have been told that he is no longer here. Another one bites the dust!
