We went to find out more about the Flying Tigers, an American Volunteer Group led by General Chennault that combated the Japanese bombing raids on China during WWII. The General is a Chinese hero! We met Chennault's granddaughter who runs the museum, who is delightful and knowledgeable, and has interesting personal stories. We also had a great volunteer tour guide who answered our questions. The museum is full of WWII artifacts and also includes a life size "talking" mannequin of General Chennault. The museum also includes the history of Selman Air Field and School, a history of Delta Airlines, and artifacts from WWI through current conflicts.
