Hyper realistic statue of Little Leaguer next to the regional headquarters for Little League baseball. About 15-ft. in height, knees bent in anticipation and with nervous facial expression, perhaps in anticipation of any stray dingers emanating from Interstate 215.

The statue stands at the entrance of the Western Regionals Little League Baseball park. Off 215 fwy at Kendall/Palm exit.

To honor the annual Western Regional Little League Tournament, the city of San Bernardino has erected a disturbingly realistic statue of a boy playing baseball. He is in a public park just off the 215 freeway where he can greet motorists speeding by. It is simply fabulous, about 12 to 15 feet tall and painted in detail down to the Angels uniform and cap. Beautifully silhouetted against the mountains, he is even lit at night.
