Jimmy Buffett Bridge

Jimmy Buffett was born in Pascagoula on December 25, 1946. In 2015, the city dedicated a bridge in his honor. That day he sang his song, The Pascagoula Run, at his first concert in his home town.

Buffett signed the bridge with the words START HERE, which was the advice his grandfather gave him. The world is yours if you want it to be, he was told.

Buffett, who went on to become a hospitality multimillionaire, might be amused that the bridge in his honor is only 30 feet long.
