This tiny roadside altar shelter probably only accommodates one or two people, but when it was built in 1883 there weren't many neighbors.

From Meridian drive west three miles on CA-20. Turn left on CA-45 and drive south three miles. The Shrine will be on the right, set back in a cluster of trees.
