This appears to be a vintage gas station. An old "Betholine Sinclair" roadside sign is on display outside as of April 2023. The building has been renovated in recent years and the sign is not always on display.

Berkeley Springs has been a tourist town since Colonial times; this motor court -- forerunner of the motel -- probably dates to the 1920s. Several of the old tourist cabins may still be standing on the property. The gas station part doubled as the office.
