Fairbanks, Alaska: LOVE ALASKA Sign

Designed with giant letters to resemble the famous Hollywood sign, it stands on the east bank of the Chena River, meant to be viewed from the west bank.

1850 Hoselton Rd, Fairbanks, AK
West side of the city, just north of the airport. From Airport Way turn west (no stoplight) onto Hoselton Rd. You'll see the green and yellow Pikes Landing arch, with the sign framed within it.

The LOVE ALASKA sign is designed to look like the Hollywood sign. It's behind Pike's Waterfront Lodge.

The sign is on the east bank of the Chena River, but is meant to be viewed from the west bank. Visitors walk to it when the river freezes solid.
