Centennial Heights, Michigan: Stone Boat No. 2

Very similar to the U.S.S. Kearsarge: Ship of Stones in Kearsarge, and probably also built in the 1930s as a WPA project.

Stone Boat.

Stone Boat No. 2

This stone boat is in a small community park about a mile and a half from the much better known one on US-41. There was also a third boat, much more prominent than the others, which succumbed to road widening 60+ years ago. And there was also a stone airplane that no one can remember, but photos of it exist.
