Hopkinsville wanted to be known as the "Batter Capital of the World." A big blob biscuit or pancake mix blob didn't seem dignified, so instead the town erected a noble fiberglass shock of wheat.

The shock of wheat is on a very busy intersection in downtown. Relatively small but cute. Was able to get an obstructed view from the side and a complete back view.
