- From US-64 in Cashiers, turn south at the stoplight onto NC-107. Drive two miles. Turn right (no stoplight) onto NC-1107/Whiteside Cove Rd. Drive four miles. You'll see the post office shack on the right; look for the flagpole.

It opened the same year that this post office closed: the former Grimshawes, North Carolina, Post Office, which measures 5 x 6 feet (smaller than Ochopee), and served from 1878 to 1953.
