The Open Heart
The Open Heart has been in Puyallup since 2001. Artist Chuck Fitzgerald had undergone surgery, then was inspired to build the heart and display outside the office of a local doctor. The doctor has since retired, but the heart is still there, and Fitzgerald gave it a thorough cleaning in June 2023.
