I was the owner of the Texaco Giant in Oakwood Village for the last 14 years, give or take. I wanted to update everyone regarding his finding a new home. I have met countless people from all over the country who have stopped to visit him and take his picture over the years. On the 29th of September, he left with his new owner to travel to the west side of Cleveland. Thank you for all of the years of keeping this giant, and all the others, on Roadside America.

Big Friend is very handsome and very well kept. It took us a minute to find him, but if you follow the address, it's spot on. It feels strange to drive up what looks like a private drive headed by a plastic mailbox, but if you don't, you'll miss him!

[Pittsburgh Pauly, 11/23/2013]My name is Bryan -- I was the owner of the Muffler Man (Cowboy) at the 26290/26310 Broadway address in Oakwood Village Ohio. He went to the Western Reserve Museum (Crawford Museum of Transportation and Industry, Cleveland, Ohio). This was about 2 1/2 years ago. I missed him by the shop so I acquired an actual Texaco Man this time, complete with original trailer. He last appeared at the Raff Road raceway, a go cart track in Canton Ohio, about ten years ago. He will be undergoing a complete and proper restoration.
