Stewart's Petrified Wood

Funky little shop with dinosaurs, ostriches, pet wood and a host of related oddities. This is not for the "Ms TuTu;" it is classic "Sanford" -- junky and unkempt. It is great! Took lots of pics with dinos and ostriches. Pleasant people to shoot the breeze with.

Stewart's Petrified Wood

Stewart's is where you'll find the funny looking dinosaur statues with mannequins stuck in their mouths. In fact, there are mannequins everywhere, along with old cars, a school bus, plastic dinosaurs, and all kinds of other junk. Stewart's primarily sells petrified wood, and every one who comes in gets a free chunk of it. Visible from I-40, Stewart's is actually on a small stretch of old Route 66.

Stewart's Petrified Wood

Charles Stewart of Stewart's Petrified Wood & Meteorites reports: I have included many new attractions to my shop. It would be nice if you could drive by on I-40, and get some pictures of my huge dinosaurs w/mannequins in their mouths facing old route 66. I-40 Exit 303, 13 Miles East of Holbrook, Arizona.

Stewart's Petrified Wood

Everyone knows the National Park Service prohibits removing petrified wood from the Petrified Forest, but we wanted some souvenirs, so Stewart's Petrified Wood caught our eye on I-40, exit 303, Adamana Road, east of Holbrook. In addition to the petrified wood, it offers several casually-placed mannequins, a big dinosaur, and the shell of a school bus.
