Prescott, Arkansas: Old Mike Exhibit
A man with no ID got off of the train in Prescott in 1911 and died that night. He was embalmed, named "Old Mike," and put on display for 65 years. The county museum has a small exhibit that tells the story of his corpse.

Old Mike was an unidentified train passenger who died after getting off of the train in Prescott in 1911. He had no documents to identify him, and efforts to retrace his travel route failed. The unknown man was embalmed and put on display in the hope that someone would recognize him. Dubbed Old Mike, he was on display for 65 years until he was buried in De Ann Cemetery in 1976. The Nevada County Depot and Museum has a small exhibit that tells the story of Old Mike.
