We went to Johnson's Orchard in Bedford and found a Johnny Appleseed statue that looks identical to the one at the (closed) Johnny Appleseed restaurant in New Market. I haven't been past the restaurant in years, so I don't know if this is the exact same one that was outside the restaurant or an identical statue.
[Matt, 09/13/2023]Several of these statues were made; some hold a giant doughnut instead of an apple. This one, if an original, looks well-preserved.
