Brighton, Michigan: Ugly Naked Guy
Nude, lumpy bronze man, titled "Decision Pending," sculpted in 2006 to suggest the stress felt by combat veterans. The unpopular statue was dubbed "Ugly Naked Guy" by a local newspaper (Sculptor Jay Holland called this "silly"). Removed in early 2023; then the city had second thoughts and put him back in April 2024.
