The giant stalks of wheat are next to Davidson park in Williston.

Part of a monument erected in 1987, dedicated, as the plaque states, to "the wheat farmers -- the men and women who broke the sod, planted the wheat and prayed that the rains would come, the grasshoppers would go, the prairie fires would die and the wind would calm."

Giant Wheat

Dedicated on Independence Day in 1987, this statue was dedicated to the settlers of the area that raised wheat. It is about 40 ft. tall.
