Call ahead. It wasn't posted anywhere online, but they were closed when we arrived 2/22/23. Very frustrating.

Great place to stop even if it's out of the way. Good old fun. It's the white place to be. Excuse me, the right place to be.

If you are watching your budget or diet choose selectively, or if there's more than one in your party, each get something different. You can buy bags of rolls in the front from their bakery if you don't want to wait for a table.

[Rigidyrae, 04/27/2013]Lambert's may have a wait. Call ahead inc ase your travel plans don't allow for extended waiting time. Wear loose fitting clothes around your waistline and prepare for the stampede of country folk waiting for troughs of fried okra, potatoes, and black eyed peas.
Don't forget your baseball mitt for those famous Lambert's "throwed" rolls!
