Watertown, Wisconsin: Tribute to the Human Hibernator

Mural by Vance Hull and Sherry Ertl pays tribute to Arthur "Turkey" Gehrke, who would go to bed in November and stay there until April. The mural is on the outside wall of his former "Turkey's Roost" tavern, which was managed in winter by his wife. She unexpectedly died one year, forcing Turkey to get up.
