Buried Fire Truck

A partially buried firetruck topped with a flagpole stands vertical in the front yard of a ranch, a tribute to Irvin C. Bainum.

[Alex, 04/16/2024]

Although this looks like a "fallen firefighter" memorial, it isn't. Irvin Charles Bainum was 76 when he died in 1999. He founded the Bonnerdale Fire Dept. but was not a fireman; he was plumber, banker, and real estate guy.
