Covington, Louisiana: The Nose

Maybe three feet high -- but an olfactory giant when compared to real noses. Built out of rebar and concrete in 1996 by Al Ormsby, who modeled it on his own nose. The small park in which it sits was formerly a sewage treatment plant.

The Nose.

The Nose

It's a nice little community park. The Nose, however, looks like it needs some major plastic surgery!

[Luv2RV, 11/03/2024]

The Nose has braved the outside elements for nearly 30 years, with nary a sniffle of complaint.
