A bronze marker and barn painting celebrate the unearthing of a Mammoth skeleton here in 1983, although both of them get the year wrong and misspell "Woolly" as "Wooly."

- From US-6 in Wysox turn south at the stoplight onto PA-187. Follow PA-187 south for seven miles. When the road veers left, turn right onto Moody Rd. Drive a half-mile. Turn left onto Woolly Mammoth Lane. You'll see the marker and barn murals straight ahead.
