According to his obituary, Kerry Shane Sheckles (1973-2005) was a champion Monopoly player. His tombstone is a full-color version of a Monopoly board, with its landing spots replaced by aspects of his life such as "1989 Red Hyundai Excel."

- Palmers Prairie Cemetery. Northeast of town. From US-150, about three miles north of Sullivan, turn east (no stoplight) onto 450 N. Drive one mile. Turn right then left to stay on 450 N. Drive 1.5 miles. Turn right onto 275 E., drive a quarter-mile, then turn left onto 425 N. Drive a quarter-mile. Turn right to park at the cemetery. It's a tiny rural graveyard, and the Monopoly Board is easy to spot.
