New England Carousel Museum

I visited the New England Carousel Museum in November and it was fantastic. There are at least 150 (or more) carousel horses, plus other assorted animals. Upstairs there is a Fire Museum and a Greek Museum, all included in the one admission price.

New England Carousel Museum

Has the "largest collection of antique carousel pieces in the country." Also has a working Wurlitzer Band Organ which the staff are only too happy to play for you. We were impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable the staff were and we were allowed to take pictures with flash! Upstairs they renovate antique carousel pieces and also have a Fire History Museum with a large collection of fire fighting equipment. This is a really fun place to visit!
