Along North Beach in South Haven are two red benches with competing dedication plaques bolted to the concrete beneath them. Each claims to be the bench where Abraham Lincoln once sat.
Which one is it? It doesn't really matter; the benches are only about 20 years old, and who cares when in front of them you can marvel at a glorious sunset over Lake Michigan!
