Midland, Michigan: Esefra, not Hitler

A lumpy figure holding a globe was sculpted in 2005 by Ezekiel George Crotzer, who has unsuccessfully run for U.S. President. He titled it "Esefra." Local teens have misinterpreted its outstretched arm as a Nazi salute.

Address:
833 Waldo Ave., Midland, MI
Directions:
East edge of town. From US-10 BUS westbound take the Waldo Ave. exit , from eastbound take the J Savage Rd exit and drive east until you reach Waldo Ave. Turn south onto Waldo Ave., then quickly make the first right, just past the little red barn shed, onto what looks like a driveway. The statue is at the end of that dead-end street.

Esefra, Not Hitler

The sculpture stands at the end of a driveway of sorts that three homes sit on.
