Visitor Tips and News About Dukes of Hazzard Museum

There are museums where the subject matter is lightly touched upon, and there are museums where the content is as deep as an ocean. The latter is my experience with the Dukes of Hazzard Museum and Collectibles. Not only does the collection of artifacts totally encompass the Dukes of Hazzard universe, but curator Jon Holland knows everything about the hit TV show and the production details behind the episodes (For example, I learned that the General Lee is painted a 1975 Corvette red). I spent five hours here and just did manage to see most of the displays and heard all of the stories from the show's history. Jon even moved the cars outside for me to photograph! The visitation is by appointment, and you will not be disappointed.
