Beacon, New York: Big Head of George Washington
Large (not giant) bronze bust of U.S. President #1 was unveiled, according to its plaque, to commemorate the bicentennial of his death. For years it sat in a tiny traffic island; in 2024 it was shifted to a safer spot beside the street.
