The goat now has friends and a mural. The mural appears to be a work-in-progress; there was scaffolding up along the wall behind the house. They finished the part that faces the street, unobstructed, first. I really liked that there was a sign inviting people to take pictures.

I had this 10-foot-high goat installed in the side yard of my house on 12/11/2024. I love Roadside America and planning road trips using it, and I wanted to bring some of the joy I've found out there to others, so here is a giant goat! The goat is looking out on Route 66 and there's a small goat-shaped sign that says, "Goat Your Kicks on Route 66." I hope whoever sees this gets to visit some day.
