There is a statue of a large alligator located at the rest area of I-75/Alligator Alley near mile marker 35. There is also a small display about the Everglades and a few taxidermy animals. A viewing platform is under construction near the statue. The rest area can be accessed from either the westbound or eastbound lanes.
