Has a pretty crazy back story about the pastors sanding down her nipples. There is parking -- just go into the tech park north and almost immediately on the left. Also lots in the south entrance if you don't mind a bit of a walk.

Now showing some signs of age since 1991, the four Civitas symbolize Rock Hill's desire to drive its economy through Flame (commitment to educational excellence), Stars (creative spirit as a cultural city), Lightning Bolt (pleasurable and efficient living in a functional city), and Gears (of industry).
Coming from the Interstate going west, if you turn right on Gateway there is a little parking area on the right within easy walking distance, and there are crosswalks for visiting all four statues and the two Egyptian Columns.

The Civitas: Pretty cool place. No parking.

Four bronze verdigris Civitas statues on each corner of a 4-way intersection. They are larger than life and stand about 20 feet tall. What is so unique about them is what happened right after they were put into place. Some of the local religious leaders were offended at how endowed they all were and how their nipples protruded. So, within a few days, workers were out there with metal files to file away the protuberances! Very funny!
