Originally occupied by Nixon's parents. Nixon, wife Pat, and daughter Tricia lived here for a short time in the mid-1940s while Nixon ran for a congressional seat. A famous campaign photograph was taken outside the house, and his first political speech was prepared in the house. Nixon's brother Don eventually moved into the house and lived there for a number of years. The house has recently been threatened with demolition.
