On June 14, 2025, the new World's Largest Acorn was unveiled in Oak Hill, Ohio, at Central Memorial Park. The acorn stands over 15 feet high and weighs 2,835 pounds (over 1.4 tons), more than double the weight of the World's Former Largest Acorn in Raleigh, North Carolina. The acorn in Oak Hill is held together with bolts, and is made of 20 panels of 14-gauge cold-rolled carbon steel. Over 500 hours of work went into designing and building this acorn. It's 50,625 times larger than an average-size acorn!
