The Muffler Man is now a toothbrush man!

I was delighted to spot my first new Muffler Man (to me) in over 20 years today, while traveling into the North Georgia Mountains. Doubly delighted to find that he used to be Mr. Bendo, who I remember from when I used to hunt down Muffler Men in the late '90s. As Dr. Blue Ridge, his toothbrush is now proudly held aloft in his right hand.

Mr. Hobby has been renamed "Dr. Blue Ridge" now. Not sure he makes a good doctor.

Free Time Hobbies has sold their building, along with Mr. Hobby, to a dental business. Presumably Mr. Hobby's hand-held P-51 model airplane will be replaced by.... a toothbrush?

The location is not actually open for retail business, which seems kinda odd. But the Muffler Man is in terrific shape as of Dec 2018. Easy to get to, and plenty of parking for taking pictures. The P-51 Mustang fighter plane he is holding has terrific details.
