Good news: the banged-up tall fella is currently away getting new clothes. Thank you Green Valley Equipment; hope he also gets a new helmet and general makeover, as he is a local icon. Don't know when he will return. With the severity of the winters here we may need to wait until Spring -- but it will be worth it!

Poor guy has a pretty bad case of the peels. His cap is now missing.

Still there, but the poor guy sure could use a new coat of paint. Looks like he hasn't been painted since the photo from way back in 1999.

Classic type, hands standard, no accessories. In front of an equipment shop in the Berkshires, close to NY border, near the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort.

The " Big Man" as we affectionately refer to him is owned by my parents, Donald and Judy Whitman and he resides at Green Valley Equipment at the corner of Route 43 and Brodie Mt. Road. His hands are in the standard muffler man position and he had been holding a pitchfork. Green Valley Equipment (which is a farm machinery dealership) purchased the "Big Man" years ago after he had a very eventful life. He had been shot, stolen by college students and had spent some hard time at the local nudist camp.
