Memorial for the law enforcement officers lost during the 1933 shootout with Pretty Boy Floyd.

According to the plaque, on June 17, 1933, Pretty Boy and two other gangsters ambushed policemen in the parking lot of the railroad's Union Station, trying to free another outlaw. Four cops, and the outlaw, were killed.
