Just like it sounds, it's a round barn, with a gift shop attached. It's picturesque, sorta, but I'm not sure it would have much of a draw beyond roadside attraction junkies if it wasn't: A. Located on Route 66 and, B. Walking distance from Pop's Soda Ranch. If you're at one, hey, might as well see the other.
[Brendan R., 03/20/2011]The caretaker of the Red Round Barn in Arcadia, named Butch, is quite a character. He documents everything there is to know about round barns and collects pictures from all over the US of round barns. He is also an artist and sells original ink drawings of various barns and local historical ephemera for ONE dollar. Yes, one dollar. The barn itself is quaint, but the attraction is definitely Butch.

The barn was built in 1898, its roof collapsed in 1988, and then it was rebuilt to its original glory by a group of local retirees that called themselves the Over the Hill Gang. Sounds like Butch was a member.
