The tombstone of Linnie Crouch in the Oak Hill Cemetery of Butler, Missouri is recognized by "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" as the world's smallest tombstone. The tombstone measures only 4.25 inches wide, 3 inches high, and 2.25 inches thick, and is designed to look like a small book. Linnie Crouch died April 25, 1898, at the age of 14. People have left many coins and small mementos at the tombstone.
