Dio Way: Childhood Home of Ronnie James Dio

The late heavy metal singer Ronnie James Dio (Dio, Rainbow, Black Sabbath) grew up in Cortland, arguably making him the biggest name to hail from this relatively small central New York college town. His former home is on the corner of Central Avenue and a street now officially designated as Dio Way. Visiting metalheads often pose at the sign and house.
