There is a polar bear statue outside the Tulsa County Courthouse. It was installed in 2018 by Nature Works, a local group that promotes animal conservation. They have erected about 15 other animal sculptures in the Tulsa area, but this is the first one to be located downtown. It is rather strange to see a statue of an arctic animal in downtown Tulsa.
