This guy has moved. Don't turn on County Road 566. Just keep on Robinson/412. You'll see him right on the right side of the road. There's a little store with a parking lot where you can pull off. If you look up the hill, there is a triceratops too.
[Jenny Solar, 01/15/2010]Big Homemade Dinosaur
Approximately 20-foot long carnosaur on a hilltop, a very short distance east of Springdale, AR. "Home-made," appears to be of foam plastic (like what comes in can of expanding insulating foam) over some kind of frame. Looks like it's been there many years -- paint is faded and peeling, and it has a bunch of bullet holes in it.

David sent us more info: Russell T. Johnson reported on Arkansas Roadside Travelogue that the dinosaur was up for sale in 1997 after the highway department purchased the property. The owner and creator of the dino is Leo Cate; in 2004 it was still there. Other Cate creations can by seen at Nate's Fun Land, 1946 N. College/Hwy 71B, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Dec 2005: Tipster Christina Mick reports "Before the new highway was put in a few years ago the giant T-rex as well as several others actually sat in the front yard of a house. They are about 12 years old. If you go further on out Hwy. 412 into the town of Huntsville the Stegasaurus was moved to a lot just around the first corner as you enter into the city( across the street and a little north of a dentist office).
