Falling Meteor No. 2.

Falling Meteor No. 2

This painted steel artwork, 14 feet high and over 15 feet long, was a gift from sculptor Jerry Peart's parents to his hometown of Winslow in 1976. It is one of his earlier (and smaller) public projects. The Meteor Crater site west of Winslow was Peart's inspiration for Falling Meteor No. 2.
