It's possible to drive through the adjoined cemetery, but the trail is not well worn and our car had some trouble with the long grass. It's also very difficult to find the mansion across the road with a GPS, so just plug in Laurel Glen Cemetery, Shrewsbury, VT. Cuttingsville is apparently a village within Shrewsbury.
On another note, the statue and entire monument is hauntingly sad and beautifully done. Glad we stopped.
