- Take US 9 to Lewes. Drive to the north edge of town, then turn left onto Front St., which turns into Pilottown Rd. Drive about a mile. You'll pass the intersection of New Rd/Rd 266 on the left. Just past this, a couple hundred yards, to your right, you'll see the Fountain.

We visited in July 2017. The fountain is there and has some suspiciously healthy-looking plants and a tiny frog living in it. We didn't see a cup. We dipped our hands in just to be safe.

The spring isn't completely dry, but are very low. There is a conch shell tied to the posts to pull back the moss growing over the fountain. There's another spring nearby (Black Harry's Spring) that's a little more full for gathering water. A little underwhelming, but good tasting water.

The Fountain of Youth is now no longer restricted, not by any sign at least. But you wouldn't want to drink the water anyway. It's completely green and gross. The small pavilion over it has been changed but is still there. No sign of a cup or anything else.
