Giant Concrete Legs
Wonderful. The kitsch here is largely unparalleled. Especially poignant are the large bush(es) at the rear of the sculpture, opposite the gate.

I scooted to Henderson this weekend to get a glimpse of the gargantuan gams created by Ricky Pearce. According to local news reports, the legs aren't exactly loved by all his neighbors. In the vicinity you'll also find a pair of high-heeled shoes that Ricky couldn't get to fit properly on the legs.
[Greg Brown, 05/16/2005]Great Pair Of Legs
As I was driving through Henderson, North Carolina several months ago, I took a turn onto Welcome Avenue. I came upon the most unusual pair of legs I had ever seen. The legs appear to be made out of concrete that has been tinted to resemble a natural skin tone. They are awesome! Not only did the artist erect a beautiful pair of woman's legs, but he also incorporated a theme into the surrounding area. He constructed an arch from iron with the word "Reminiscing," which acts as the entrance to a boardwalk beneath one of the legs. There is also a garter fashioned into the thigh of the right leg and a bracelet fashioned into the ankle of the left leg.
[Tammy Pearce, 08/01/2004]The artist is Ricky Pearce, a backhoe contractor. The legs are 17 ft. high and weigh 40-tons.
